Hurlock Woman Arrested for Jewelry Theft

HURLOCK, Md.- The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 30-year-old woman accused of stealing jewelry from her sister who lives with her.

Candace Lynn Moss was arrested Friday and charged with two counts of theft under $1,000, theft scheme over $300 and theft over $1,000 but under $10,000.

Moss was also found to be in possession of heroin and syringes at the time of her arrest, and was charged with possession of heroin and paraphernalia, according to investigators. She was ordered held on $90,000 bond.

Since the arrest, some of the stolen jewelry was found at a pawn shop in Seaford, Del., police said.
