Dover Police Probe Apartment Break-in

DOVER, Del. – Dover police are investigating the break-in of an apartment sometime between Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

The suspect or suspects broke into a Towne Point apartment on Carvel Drive cut the phone cord and stole the victim’s purse, according to police.

 “[The apartment] was vacant during the time it was burglarized,” said Cpl. Mark Hoffman of the Dover Police Department. “I believe the window was left unsecured.”

 Police had no leads or suspects as of Wednesday afternoon.
