DOVER, Del.- Dover police say they have arrested two men for possession of PCP and related charges.

On Monday afternoon, members of the Dover Police Operation Safe Streets/TAC Unit responded to 986 Whatcoat Drive for a loitering/drug complaint.

Police said that when officers arrived on the scene, they contacted 32-year-old Russell Ewell and 33-year-old Apalonio Patten, both of Dover. Officers said they detected an odor of PCP coming from inside their vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed 2.5 grams of PCP and a cigarette that was soaked in PCP, police said.

Both men were taken into custody and charged with possession of PCP, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree conspiracy.

Both Ewell and Patten were processed and then released after posting bond.
