Man Arrested in Dover Drug Bust

DOVER, Del.- Dover police say a raid on a home has led to the arrest of a 43-year-old man on drug and firearms charges. 

Police said on Wednesday morning officers conducted a search warrant on Thurhan Blenman's home on the 100 block of Vera Way. Police said they found 2.1 grams of heroin and two loaded firearms inside the home.

Police said the investigation revealed Blenman had been selling heroin from his home. He was taken into custody and charged with two counts of possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited, two counts of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child/drug offenses. He was ordered held in default of $171,000 secured bond.

Also found inside the home was 34-year-old Steven Huey, of Harrington. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released after posting bail.
