KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame has a new inductee. Jasmina Perazic became the newest member on Saturday, June 14 in Knoxville, Tenn. She is now Maryland’s fourth member behind her coach Chris Weller, Vicky Bullett and Tara Heiss.
Perazic led the Terps to the Final Four in 1982 and helped them to rank third in the country. She was named a 1983 Kodak All-American and co-ACC tournament MVP. She even helped her Yugoslavian Olympic team win the bronze medal in 1980.
Jasmina has 1,396 career points and led her team to three ACC titles in a row.
She even played with the WNBA’s New York Liberty for a season.
