Car, Motorcycle Collide; Road Closed for Three Hours

SALISBURY, Md.- Wicomico County sheriff's deputies are investigating a serious crash between a motorcycle and a car.

It happened at the intersection of Hobbs and Old Hobbs roads in Salisbury at around 6 p.m. Monday.

Investigators said the motorcyclist was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.

No one in the car was injured.

The area was shut down for nearly three hours.

There is no word on the identities of those involved in the crash.

    Robert Mitchell, The Director of Environmental Programs for Worcester County, said that nearly 500 acres of land was given to them in a deed.

    Little did they know there would be a small house located on one of the many islands they acquired. A house, that they soon found out, is sinking into the water.
