Two Arrested After Seizure of 74.4 Grams of Cocaine and Firearms

DOVER, Del.- Dover police say two people were arrested after a search warrant yielded 74.4 grams of cocaine, 10 ecstasy pills and two firearms.

According to police, Eva Bailey, 35, and Augustine Butcher, 35, were both arrested without incident on Wednesday afternoon at the location of 58 Heritage Drive. During the search warrant, there were six children inside the home, police said.

Bailey was charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of cocaine (Tier 5 quantity), second-degree conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver, ecstasy, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child.

Butcher was charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of cocaine (Tier 5 quantity), second-degree conspiracy, possession with intent to distribute ecstasy, possession of drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of firearm by person prohibited and possession of firearm during the commission of felony.

Both Bailey and Butcher were arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 7. Bailey was released on $33,200 unsecured bond and Butcher was committed in default of $228,200 secured bond.
