Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect in Talbot County

 TRAPPE, Md. - Maryland State Police are searching for a person they say robbed the Talbot Bank in Trappe at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.

Police say at 1:54 p.m. Thursday, members of the Maryland State Police Easton Barrack, Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division Upper Shore, Trappe Police Department, Talbot County Sheriff's Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation responded to the Talbot Banke on Maple Avenue for a report of an armed robbery.

Police say an investigation revealed a person entered the bank with their face covered wearing black clothing. Police say the person showed a handgun and demanded money from the employees. Police say the person then left with an undisclosed amount of money in an unknown direction.
