Sex Offender Charged with Dealing in Child Porn

DOVER, Del.- The Delaware Attorney General's Office says a registered sex offender has been charged with dealing in child pornography.

Twenty-three-year-old Eric Robert Aldrich, of Milford, was arrested on Wednesday, June 18 and charged with 25 counts of dealing in child pornography.

Prosecutors said as part of an investigation into the online distribution of child pornography, authorities executed a search warrant on Aldrich's home located on the unit block of East Yorktown Road.

Officials said detectives seized three computers and other digital media and a forensic preview of the devices showed numerous videos of child pornography.

Aldrich is on supervised probation and is not allowed to have Internet access as a condition of his probation, prosecutors noted.

Following his arrest on the aforementioned charges, Aldrich was ordered held in in lieu of $500,000 secured bail.
