Dr. Mark Kotkin Retained To Assess Findings from New Index to Quantify Where Businesses Fail To Execute on Strategy.

Cedar Grove, NJ (PRWEB) June 30, 2014

PMO Advisory (http://www.pmoadvisory.com), a management consulting firm that helps organizations to bridge the gap from ideas to execution, has retained leading market researcher Mark Kotkin, Ph.D., to assist with the analysis of the firms expanding Business ExecutionIndex. Under Dr. Kotkins guidance, PMO Advisory will be able to extrapolate more information from the ExecutionIndex for research reports and white papers exploring areas where organizations fail to execute against business strategy, and how companies can correct course to achieve their goals.

More than 600 executives from a diverse range of businesses and non-profit organizations from across various industries and government agencies have already been surveyed for the Business ExecutionIndex. The findings are already providing practical insight and tactical approaches revealing how to develop new tools and business processes to improve any organizations business execution. The Business ExecutionIndex is an extension of PMO Advisorys project management office (PMO) practice and their consulting services to facilitate process improvement for business transformation for clients.

Our business execution study has already been well received by organizations seeking to improve their operations, said Te Wu, founder and CEO of PMO Advisory. The dataset from the research has proven very rich, which is why we decided to retain the services of Dr. Mark Kotkin, one of the most respected market researchers around, to help us tabulate the findings.

Dr. Kotkin is a consultant specializing in developing survey methodologies and conducting market research. Dr. Kotkin recently retired after 27 years with Consumer Reports where he was responsible for managing all published survey content, including the Annual Questionnaire, the largest national consumer survey other than the U.S. Census.

Dr. Kotkin will be working with the PMO Advisory team to compile the results from the first Business ExecutionIndex, including developing the initial report of the survey findings which will be made available to all survey participants. PMO Advisory also plans to create a series of white papers expanding on specific trends in the index, as well as developing a book profiling the ExecutionIndex findings.

The preliminary survey results already offer some interesting insights, Wu added. For example, we discovered that non-profit institutions tend to out execute all types of for-profit organizations. In fact, we find that even the biggest for-profit companies can learn a lot about strategic execution from the non-profit sector.
