In Launching Its Google+ Channel and Partnering with Design Camp for Its Inaugural Hangout, the Lighting and Home Furnishings Company Expands Its Efforts to Become a Valuable Resource for the Design Community

Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) June 30, 2014

Lamps Plus, one of the nations top lighting and home furnishings retailers, announces that it will host a series of three Google+ Hangouts live from Design Camp at Las Vegas World Market Center, July 29-31, 2014. Lamps Plus will officially serve as a Premier Sponsor of the upcoming Design Camp event, underscoring the similar missions of these two design resources.

With its new Google+ channel, Lamps Plus looks to serve as a valuable resource for the home decorator and professional designer alike. The Google+ hangouts will serve as informal breakout sessions for Design Camp, an education seminar held for design professionals annually at Las Vegas Market.

As we look to expand our efforts to both educate and inspire the design community, Lamps Plus is proud to partner with Design Camp, one of the nations leading education programs for practicing interior designers, explains Michael Gouel, Director of the companys online trade resource program, the Lamps Plus Professionals Division.

Design Camp was founded in 2012 by designers Lori Dennis and Kelli Ellis. Explains Ellis, Design Camp is an intensive two-day seminar in which A-list designers discuss their tools and tips for growing your design business. Weve carefully selected speakers and sponsors to serve as a design resource for our attendees at the event and beyond. Were happy to have Lamps Plus as a premier sponsor, allowing them to showcase their trade program for designers, Lamps Plus Professionals.

Design Camp will take place July 29-31, 2014, at the World Market Center in Las Vegas. The event will cover topics critical to the professional interior designer, such as design trends, shopping, marketing and branding, billing, contracts and much more. It coincides with Las Vegas Market, a semiannual home lighting, furnishings and decor trade show taking place at the same venue, July 27-31, 2014.
