The Mark. H. McCormack Department of Sport Management's master's degree program has achieved elite status in Sport Business International magazine's 2014 Postgraduate Course Rankings. In the survey, released in the magazine's June edition, the program ranked 2nd among all postgraduate sport management programs in the United States for the third year in a row. It ranked 4th among all postgraduate programs worldwide.
The ranking criteria included student satisfaction, employment within three months of graduation, work placement as part of the curriculum, and other variables. More than 500 programs sought rankings in the magazine's survey, which is in its third year.

"It also reflects our deep ties with industry, including thousands of well-placed alumni. The McCormack master's degree program offers an M.S. degree and a hybrid MBA/M.S. degree. The department also offers B.S. and Ph.D. degrees.
