SEAFORD, Del.- Delaware State Police on Wednesday released surveillance video photos of two suspects wanted in connection with the assault and attempted robbery of a 78-year-old man outside a Royal Farms convenience store in Seaford.

Authorities said that the incident happened at around 6:30 a.m. on June 14, when the victim was approached by a woman who asked him for mechanical help with her car outside the Royal Farms located on the 8800 block of Concord Road. Troopers said that when the victim went to his car to retrieve a paper towel and check the woman's oil, she followed, and sprayed him in the eyes with pepper spray. Investigators said the woman then attempted to grab the victim's wallet, but he was able to cover his pocket and escape.

Police said the woman, along with a male suspect who was accompanying her, fled in an older model white Chevy Blazer.

The female suspect was described as between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-6, with medium skin tone, dark hair, wearing multi-colored pajama bottoms and a dark T-shirt. The male suspect was a black male with short dark hair, wearing a white tank top, tank shorts, and tan sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DSP Sgt. Windish at (302) 856-5850, or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1800-TIP-3333 or via www.tipsubmit.com.
