Teenager Opens Fire Inside Facility, Two People Injured

DOVER, Del.- Dover police say two people are hurt after a teenage boy fired shots inside a facility early this morning.

Police said the shooting happened at 12:30 a.m. at the Elks Club, located in the 200 block of N. Kirkwood Street in Dover.

Authorities said an unknown male pulled out a handgun and fired shots at a crowd of people inside. Police said two people were hit.  Both victims were taken to Bay Health Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Witnesses described the shooter as a young black male, between 16-18 years of age wearing a baseball hat, red t-shirt, and jeans.
