List of Cooling Centers Open on Delmarva

With temperatures in the 90s expected for the next few days, several cooling stations will be opened on Delmarva where residents can go to escape the heat.

Below is a list of cooling stations that are open or will be open during the current heat wave. Please note that counties not featured in the below list or counties already on the list with updates and/or corrections are requested to email WBOC with details about their cooling stations at WBOC will then update the list accordingly.

Somerset County, Md.

Residents should take their own food, beverages and medications to the cooling centers. For more information about the centers, call (443) 523-1700.

Worcester County, Md.

The Worcester County Commission on Aging will have the Snow Hill Senior Center open as a cooling center Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. For senior citizens and the disabled but no one seeking relief from the heat will be turned away, officials said.
