Suspect Charged in Easton Home Invasion

Posted:

EASTON, Md.- A woman is facing charges in connection with an Easton home invasion that occurred earlier this year.

Easton police said that on Monday, the Montgomery County Department of Corrections served an arrest warrant on Amie J. King, 28, of Germantown.

Police said that on Feb. 10, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Tubman Drive, in reference to a home invasion that just occurred.

According to police, officers arrived and met with a female victim who told officers that she was asleep in the living room when a male suspect entered her home. The male turned on the lights and she was confronted by the male, investigators said.

Police said the male punched her in the face and attacked her as she was trying to defend herself, soon after, demanding money.

The male then grabbed the victim’s purse and walked outside and ransacked the victim’s vehicle, police said.

According to police, the male suspect was later identified as Tevin D. Green. Further investigation uncovered King’s involvement, authorities said.

The arrest warrant charges King with conspiracy and accessory after statute for first-, third- and fourth-degree burglary, robbery and armed robbery, first- and second-degree assault, firearm use in a violent crime and theft of $1,000.

King was ordered held in the Montgomery County Department of Corrections on a $50,000 bond. King is also currently held at the Montgomery County Department of Corrections on an unrelated attempted murder.
