Md. Man Injured After Tractor-Trailer Collides with Car

HARMONY, Md. – A man was injured after a tractor-trailer collided with his car in Caroline County on Wednesday morning, according to  Maryland State Police.

The accident occurred on Harmony Road and Shore Highway shortly before 6 p.m.

Troopers said Gene Sheck, 56, of Chester, Md., suffered injuries after a Freightliner tractor-trailer hit his Nissan Maxima. He was taken to Easton Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The truck driver, Ronnie McNeill, 56, of Towson, Md., was charged with failing to control vehicle speed to avoid collision. McNeill was not injured in the accident, police said.
