Hands-On Immersion Training Available for Military and Civilian Cyber Security Professionals
BETHESDA, Md., July 10, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The SANS Institute today announced its return to Texas with SANS San Antonio 2014, taking place August 11 - 16. SANS San Antonio offers hands-on immersion-style security training courses taught by real-world practitioners. Military and civilian information security professionals will participate in world-class security training as they learn to protect an organization against today's most complex cyber attacks.
Included among the courses offered at the event is SANS' new FOR526: Memory Forensics In-Depth course. According to Jake Williams (@MalwareJake), SANS Instructor, "Insider threats are very real, yet often overlooked as most organizations focus on external threats. This new course focuses on the tasks that practitioners should regularly perform to protect against insider threats. Investigators will learn the skills necessary to identify compromised endpoints and how to determine which of these endpoints holds the most critical data."
