Harrington Police Arrest Felton Man for Rape

HARRINGTON, Del.- Harrington police have arrested a Felton man accused of raping a 14-year-old girl.

Police said Jeramy A. Blair, 23, turned himself in on Sunday after officers began searching for him in connection with the case.

According to police, the incident was reported by the victim's family, who said the girl was sexually assaulted at a home on North Street in Harrington. Police said their investigation determined Blair had sexually assaulted the victim inside the home, at which point they began looking for him.

After turning himself in, Blair was charged with second-degree rape.  He was ordered to be held in the Sussex Correctional Institute in default of $10,000 secured bond.
