Police: Man Robs Two Rite Aids, 1 in Md., 1 in Del.

 DELMAR, Md. - Delmar Police are searching for a man they say robbed a drug store Thursday evening in Delmar. Police say around 8:45 p.m., officers responded to the Rite Aid at 1301 East State Street for a reported Armed Robbery.

Through an investigation, police say the man entered the store and approached the Pharmacy counter. They say he displayed a handgun and demanded prescription drugs.

Delmar Police tell WBOC they believe this suspect is the same man who robbed a Rite Aid in Millsboro, Del. roughly four hours prior to the Delmar robbery. 

Millsboro Police say the first incident happened around 4:30 p.m. at the Rite Aid at U.S. Route 113 and State Route 24. Police say the same thing happened at this Rite Aid: a man entered the store, approached the Pharmacy counter, displayed a handgun, and demanded prescription drugs.

Delmar and Millsboro Police say the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of prescription medication at both locations. 

During both robberies, the suspect was seen wearing a pink hat with a long-haired wig. He's described as a white male, thin build, and roughly five feet five inches tall.
