WEST OCEAN CITY, Md. - Maryland State Police responded to a two-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon in West Ocean City. Troopers say it happened just after 2:00 p.m. on Route 50 Eastbound near Route 707.

Police say an investigation revealed that a black 2014 Nissan Juke operated by 29-year-old Julia Sanborn of Baltimore, Md., was attempting to make a left turn into the "Baja Amusement Park" when she was struck by a 1998 Red Honda Civic driven by 24-year-old Hayley Brennan, of Frankford, Delaware.

Police say Brennan was traveling in the right lane at the time of the collision. Police say she was taken to Atlantic General Hospital for minor injuries.

Police say Sanborn was charged with failure to yield right of way while making a left turn in West Ocean City.
