Heather Turner and Ryan Neyhart Heather Turner and Ryan Neyhart
GEORGETOWN, Del.– Delaware State Police are looking for two suspects accused of scamming a woman out of her money before fleeing the state.

Troopers said 31-year-old Heather Turner, of Lincoln, and 29-year-old Ryan L. Neyhart, of Georgetown, contacted the 25-year-old victim, who was interested in purchasing an Acura Integra for sale, and brought her to the 18000 block of Redden Road for her to buy the car. The victim then gave the suspects $1,500, police said.

Neyhart told the victim they needed to complete tag and title work before she could take the car and transported her to Fitzgerald’s Salvage where she would wait for the title and the keys, according to investigators. However, police said no one returned to give the victim the promised items.

The suspects were driving a 2002 blue GMC Sonoma pickup truck that belonged to Neyhart’s father, according to police. Troopers said the father gave the suspects permission to use the car to go to court for a probation violation, but they did not return.

Police say they are charging both Neyhart and Turner with theft greater than and under $1,500, conspiracy and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. They said the suspects might be traveling to Virginia or Pennsylvania.

Anyone with information about the suspects' whereabouts should contact Cpl. R. Hargis at (302) 337-1090, ext. 312, or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 and www.tipsubmit.com.
