Queen Anne's Co. Drug Trafficker Gets 9 Years in Prison

Updated:

BALTIMORE– A U.S. District Court judge on Wednesday sentenced 33-year-old Warren Troy Gibson Jr., of Stevensville, Md., to nine years in prison for conspiring to distribute narcotics.

According to his plea agreement, from June through Aug. 23, 2012, Gibson conspired with others to distribute and possess with intent to distribute cocaine hydrochloride and cocaine base in Queen Anne’s County, Md. Gibson helped distribute cocaine and other drugs, and made drug deals on the phone in cooperation with his co-conspirators, court records show. On Aug. 23, 2012, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at a residence and stash location partly maintained by Gibson, and seized quantities of powder cocaine.

It was reasonably foreseeable to Gibson that between 500 grams and 2 kilograms of cocaine would be distributed to others during the conspiracy.
