DOVER, Del. (AP/WBOC) - The Delaware Attorney General's Office says two men have been arrested after they allegedly arranged to meet children for sex in separate incidents in Dover.
Prosecutors say 49-year-old Steve A. Moore of Dagsboro and 51-year-old Mark A. Cavill of Bloomingdale, N.J., have each been charged with sexual solicitation of a child under 18.
Authorities said the men communicated on an online social dating site with law enforcers posing as underage teen girls and arranged to meet with them. Prosecutors said Moore was arrested Tuesday at Tidbury Park on South State Street in Dover, and Cavill was taken into custody Friday at a fast food restaurant on the 17000 block of North DuPont Highway in Dover.
Moore was charged with one count of sexual solicitation of a child under 18 and four counts of obscenity and ordered held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of $70,000 secured bail.
Cavill was charged with one count of sexual solicitation of a child under 18 and ordered held in the JTVCC in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
Authorities said a forensic investigation of the cellphones of both men is ongoing.
