DOVER, Del.- Dover police say officers arrested a Millsboro man after they found 1,300 bags of heroin in his possession Thursday night. 

DeAngelo McGlotten, 28, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) in a Tier 5 quantity, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said McGlotten was arrested in the parking lot of T.G.I. Friday’s on South DuPont Highway in Dover at approximately 8:30 p.m. after detectives learned through an ongoing investigation that he was in possession of a large amount of heroin.

According to police, a search of McGlotten's vehicle led to the discovery of 1,300 bags of heroin weighing approximately 19.5 grams. Following his arrest on the charges, he was ordered held on $41,000 cash at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center.
