Two Men Arrested on Drug Charges

Hurlock police arrested two men for drug possession in the Prospect Height area Monday. Hurlock police arrested two men for drug possession in the Prospect Height area Monday.

HURLOCK, Md. – Hurlock police say they arrested two men Monday in the Prospect Height area on drug charges.

Keith M. Knotts, 34, of East New Market, Md., are charged with heroin, cocaine and paraphernalia possession and arrested Daniel L. Staffer, 30, of Secretary, Md., for heroin and paraphernalia possession.

Officers said they spotted the two men in a wooded area of Prospect Height. They said that when they approached them, one suspect threw heroin to the ground before being arrested.

Knotts was ordered held on $10,000 bond and Staffer was ordered held on $5,000 bond.
