Easton Woman Accused of Punching Denny's Employee

Posted: Updated:
EASTON, Md.- Easton police say a woman allegedly punched an employee at a Denny's restaurant after she was asked to leave.

Last Friday witnesses stated that 27-year-old Anna Edwards, of Easton, and another woman, were asked to leave the restaurant for "causing a disturbance," according to police.

Authorities said that as Edwards was walking toward the door, she allegedly punched an employee.

On Wednesday, Easton police said they served Edwards a criminal summons charging her with second-degree assault. A trial date has been scheduled for Sept. 4.
