DOVER, Del. (WBOC)- Dover police say they have arrested two suspects and are searching for three others in connection with a gang-related armed robbery and assault of two teenagers in the Capital Green housing development.

According to police, the two victims, ages 15 and 16, were riding their bikes near the basketball courts at about 10:10 p.m. when they were surrounded by five male suspects who began to yell gang-related statements and displayed possible gang signs.

According to police, the victims stated that one suspect threw a bicycle at one of them while another suspect pulled out a black handgun to rob them. Police said one victim tried to run but was knocked down and then punched and kicked by all five of the suspects until he lost consciousness for a brief period. Investigators said the suspects then stole both of the victims' bikes and left the area.

Duante Morrison, 21, Jawon Watson, 17, and Khareim Hanzer, 16, are all wanted by the Dover Police Department in connection to this armed robbery and assault.

Juwan Valentine, 19, and a 15-year-old juvenile were both arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, second-degree assault, illegal gang participation and second-degree conspiracy.

Valentine was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center and is being held on $115,000 secured bond. The juvenile was released to a parent/guardian.
