OCEAN CITY, Md.- Wednesday started off as a busier day than Tuesday at the 41st Annual White Marlin Open in Ocean City. According to White Marlin Open event organizers, 120 out of the 288 boats that are entered in the tournament went out to fish in the morning.  But when the scales closed at Harbour Island on 14th Street, only one fish made it onto the leaderboard.

The lucky angler is Eric Seigel out of Aldic, Virginia.  He reeled in a 38 pound Dolphin while fishing on the boat Trophy Hunter, registered in the Oregon Inlet, North Carolina. The fish is worth an estimated $15,600.

There is an estimated $2.77 Million in prize money available at this year's White Marlin Open.

Organizers are expecting Thursday and Friday to be very busy days for the tournament.
