OCEAN CITY, Md. - It took a few days but there is finally a leader in the White Marlin category of the 41st Annual White Marlin Open. John Bayliss of North Carolina caught the 78-pound fish aboard the boat Dream Time. If Bayliss' lead holds, it'll be worth $1.1 Million dollars in prize money for the Dream Time crew.

In the Blue Marlin Category, Sam Lancelotta of Ellicott City, Maryland, reeled in a 738.5 pound fish to take the lead. His catch is valued at $513,000 dollars if it holds up on Friday.  The blue marlin was caught aboard the boat Gratitude out of Virginia Beach.

Robert Guarini of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania also caught a blue Marlin on Thursday. It weighed in at 564-pounds, and was brought in by the boat Generation out of Cape May, NJ.

Friday is the final day of the White Marlin Open fishing tournament.
