Troopers Investigate Robbery of Game Store

WILMINGTON, Del.– Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a north Wilmington game store that occurred Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:25 p.m. as a male suspect entered the Game Stop store located at 2074 Naamans Road. Troopers said the suspect, armed with a knife, confronted a 19-year-old female employee and demanded money. The female victim complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect. The suspect then fled from the store in an unknown direction. The female clerk was not injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, 30-35 years of age, and between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing and was armed with a knife. No further physical or clothing description is available. No surveillance photos available for release at this time.

Troopers continue to investigate this incident.
