Soundwave Music Festival Hits Berlin in September

BERLIN, Md. – Expect a lot of sound to wave through 50 acres off Worcester Highway for the Soundwave Music Festival happening in September.

Almost 20 different acts are coming to Airlift Acres in Berlin for the 3-day festival, and Jessica, with Airlift Acres, says they are very excited about the event, especially since it will happen during this year’s Ocean City Bikefest.

“We will be doing different kinds of bike games,” Jessica said, to help entice the more than 400,000 that will be in town for OC Bike Week. “The festival is good for people of all ages. We will have helicopter rides, face painting, and free parking.”

This is the second time the Soundwave Music Festival has come to Berlin. Jessica said all the bands coming are nationally touring and everyone who wants to keep up with all that’s happening can go online.

“Check Facebook,” Jessica said. “That is where we update everyone on what is going on.”

The festival starts Thursday, Sept. 11 and runs through Saturday, Sept. 13. The cost per ticket is $45 for a day pass, it goes up to $110 for a 3-day pass.

Jessica said if you want to go, you better hurry up. “Tickets are going fast.”
