GREENWOOD, Del.- Delaware State Police have arrested three people in connection with a Sunday morning home invasion that happened near Greenwood.

Police said it happened just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday on the 11000 block of Adamsville Road. Authorities said two men broke into a home, tied up a 26-year-old man who was a resident of the home, then took multiple weapons from the home and fled. The victim was not injured in the incident.

Upon interviewing the victim, detectives said they were able to establish 21-year-old Damien C. Quillen, of Bridgeville, as one of the suspects involved in the crime. Troopers said that on Tuesday, Quillen turned himself in to police after phone calls were made to his home asking about his whereabouts on Sunday. Police said they were able to gather information through questioning of Quillen and learned that 20-year-old Matthew S. Duryea and 24-year-old Joshua S. Duryea, both of Laurel, were also involved in the home invasion.

Police said Matthew and Joshua Duryea were both picked up later Tuesday afternoon at their home and a search warrant was executed at the home, which resulted in the recovery of all seven firearms.

All three suspects were charged with home invasion, second-degree burglary, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, seven counts of theft of a firearm, and second-degree conspiracy. They were arraigned and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $99,000 cash bond.
