Deadline Nears for Delaware License Plate Contest

DOVER, Del. (AP) - The deadline is closing in for artists to submit redesigns of Delaware's animal welfare license plate.
    
First State Paw Draw is a contest hoping to redesign and update the vanity license plate for animal lovers.
    
Officials hope the contest and newly designed license plate will promote several spay and neuter programs.
    
The deadline for entries is Aug. 30. Entrants must be Delaware residents.
