Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Chestertown

 CHESTERTOWN, Md.- Fire officials say a man is recovering from injuries tonight after he ran into a curb on his motorcycle.

Officials with the Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company said the accident happened on Route 213 near Washington College around 3:30 p.m.

Fire officials said he was taken to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for injuries to his shoulder. They would not disclose the extent of his injuries, but said he was wearing a helmet.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
