Police Investigating Shooting of DART Bus

MILLSBORO, Del.- Delaware State Police are investigating after a DART bus was struck by a bullet over the weekend in Millsboro.

Police said the incident happened at around 5:41 a.m. Saturday. The bus, operated by a 50-year-old male driver, was traveling eastbound on Mount Joy Road west of Doc Frame Road in Millsboro. Troopers said that is when the bullet came from an unknown firearm and penetrated the side of the bus, entering the area where passengers ride. No passengers were on the bus during the time of the incident, and the bus driver was not injured.

Police are still investigating the incident, and will review surveillance footage from the bus to determine where the bullet came from. They are continuing to search for suspects.
