Day One of Murder Trial in 2013 Fatal Shooting of Princess Anne Man

PRINCESS ANNE, Md.- It is day one of the trial for one of four men charged in the murder of a 35-year-old man, who was shot to death on Thanksgiving in 2013.

Cory Hamilton went to court in Worcester County, where his trial is being held. His trial was moved there from Somerset County.

The victim, Adrian Marshall, 35, was shot and killed last year on Thanksgiving during a planned  robbery at his home on Greenwood School Road. Yvonne Duffy, one of Marshall's friends, said he is truly missed.

"He was sweet, stayed laughing , you know, someone you can get a long with," Duffy said. "There was no reason for someone not to like him."

So far, two defendants have entered plea agreements. In April, Raekwon Lee pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery and is now a witness for the state.

Don Hanna Jr. was found guilty of first and second degree murder and conspiracy to commit robbery and armed robbery, and is scheduled to be sentenced later this month.

Brandon Early is the last defendant. He is also charged with first and second degree murder along with armed robbery and conspiracy. His trial was moved to Dorchester County, and he will be in Cambridge for his trial in October. Hamilton's trial is expected to run until Thursday.
