REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. -  Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery at the Sunglass Hut in the Tanger Seaside Outlets.

The robbery occurred Saturday night around 8:40pm. Police say a female entered the store and began trying on sunglasses. When she approached the counter, she implied she had a weapon and then demanded money from the cashier.

According to police the 39-year-old Sunglass Hut employee complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the store with the money as well as a pair of sunglasses.

Police say the suspect is described as a white female, 18-29 years old, around 4'11"-5'08" tall and was wearing dark clothing with a black and white backpack. After leaving the store she headed eastbound toward Breakwater Trail.

DSP are asking if anyone has information in reference to the incident to contact Trooper M. Burch at 302-644-5020.
