UPDATED: MSP Investigating Fatal Crash in Worcester County


BERLIN, Md.- Maryland State Police say a Salisbury man was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle and traveled off the side of a road in Worcester County.

State Police say it happened around 7:30 p.m. Sunday night on Northbound U.S. Route 113 at MD Route 589 in Berlin.

According to Maryland State Police, 55-year-old Keith Ray Lambden of Salisbury was driving a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle in the slow lane of Northbound US Rt. 113 in the area of MD Rt. 589. State police say for unknown reasons, Lambden lost control of the motorcycle, drove off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail.

State police say Lambden died from his injuries at the scene.

Northbound US Rt. 113 was closed for approximately four hours following the accident.

Maryland State Police are continuing their investigation of the collision at this time.
