Two Arrested In Delmar on Heroin Distribution Charges

Delmar, DE – The Delaware State Police Sussex County Drug Unit have arrested two people after a month long investigation into illegal drug sales from a residence in Delmar, Delaware.

A search warrant was conducted Friday in the 15000 block of Whitesville Road.  Upon executing the search warrant, Narada M. Walls, 34, and Deidra K. Davis, 30, were taken into custody without incident.  A juvenile female child was also in the house and was turned over to relatives at the scene.  The search revealed a total of 41 bags of heroin weighing approximately .615 grams, two Ruger rifles, a Mark I handgun, a Taurus .38 caliber revolver that was reported stolen out of Salisbury Police Department, drug paraphernalia, and over $986.00 in suspected drug proceeds.

Walls and Davis were both charged with possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin, four counts of Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Person Prohibited, Receiving a Stolen Firearm, Conspiracy 2nd, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  They were both arraigned and are currently being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $20,250.00 secured bond.
