Police Issue Arrest Warrant for Suspect in Vehicle Break-Ins

EASTON, Md. – Easton police have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect wanted in connection to three vehicle break-ins.

According to police, they are looking for Oliver E. Lopez, 44, of District Heights, Md.

Police said the first incident happened on April 27 when officers were dispatched to the North East Sports Complex in Easton for a vehicle break-in. Investigators said someone broke a window and stole a purse, then later used credit cards in the purse in Queen Anne's County.

Police said the same thing happened on May 3 and May 31, at the same location.

Further investigation led to Lopez as a suspect.

Police said Lopez faces 17 counts of rogue and vagabond, theft and credit card theft.
