FELTON, Del. (AP) - A Delaware woman who was arrested along with her son says authorities are wrong in charging her with a marijuana offense.

Cynthia Jimenez said in a telephone interview Saturday that authorities used unnecessary force in arresting her and her son, 21-year-old Jose Jimenez, on Thursday. The Delaware State Police said that a search of their home on Barratts Chapel Road turned up nearly 230 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and two guns. They say the arrests were part of a month-long investigation into drug trafficking. Police say both Jimenez and her son were charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and other charges.

Jimenez acknowledged Saturday that her son has sold marijuana but she said she doesn't sell or smoke marijuana and didn't know so much was in her home.

She said Saturday that the two guns police found were antiques.
