3rd Man Charged in Delaware Murder-For-Hire Case

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Police say a third person was arrested Friday in the slayings of a married couple in a murder-for-hire case.
New Castle County police say 23-year-old Dominique Benson is in custody. Police say Benson was one of two people hired to kill Joseph and Olga Connell by Joseph Connell's business partner and an associate.

Polise say Benson apprehended at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Rockland, after police received information he was visiting the facility.

Benson was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, criminal solicitation and conspiracy. He was arraigned, then taken to Howard Young prison in Wilmington, where he is being held without bail.
County Police Chief Elmer Setting said Saturday that there is still "one more really important person" to arrest in the case.
Christopher Rivers, the co-owner of Joseph Connell's auto repair shop, has been charged with orchestrating the slayings, which occurred nearly a year ago. An associate, Joshua Bey, has also been charged.
