Del. Man Charged with Offensive Touching of Teen

Posted:
DOVER, Del. (AP/WBOC)- A man has been arrested on several charges after police say he broke into a Dover home wearing a disguise and offensively touched a 17-year-old girl before running away.

Dover police said 22-year-old William Pendleton Jr. broke into a home on Cecil Street and offensively touched a 17-year-old girl before he fled around 4 a.m. Saturday. Police said he was wearing something over his face.

Police said Pendleton turned himself in shortly after the incident. He was arrested on charges of second-degree burglary, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony and offensive touching. He's being held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on a $3,000 bond.

It was not immediately clear if Pendleton has a lawyer, and a home telephone number listed for him has been disconnected.
