Cars at Del. Dealership Damaged by Acid-Based Substance

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP/WBOC) - Delaware State Police say 54 cars at a Wilmington dealership were damaged when someone put an acid-based substance on the vehicles' exteriors.
Troopers say between 7 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday, someone vandalized the cars parked on the display lot at Sheridan Ford on Kirkwood Highway. Police say damage to the vehicles' paint is estimated at $54,000.

Police say there are no known suspects at this point in the investigation.
