GREENWOOD, Del.- Delaware State Police are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion robbery that occurred early Sunday morning in Greenwood.

Police said the incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. after a 44-year-old woman called 9-1-1 call to report that two people had just broken into the home she was watching for a friend. When troopers arrived at the home, located on the 14000 block of Owens Road, they met with the victim who stated that she heard someone kicking the front door and breaking a window. The woman then opened the door and was confronted by two suspects who pushed her to the ground and put an unknown object to the rear of her head. The suspects then rummaged through the home before taking the 44-year-old victim's purse and fleeing the home in an unknown direction.

The two unknown suspects are described as wearing dark clothing with white masks. No further physical or clothing description was given. Police said it is unknown what kind of weapon with which the suspects were armed.

The victim was uninjured during the encounter, police said.

Anyone with additional information about this incident is asked to contact Detective R. Mears at (302) 856-5850, ext. 255, or by utilizing the Delaware State Police Mobile Crime Tip Application available to download at: http://www.delaware.gov/apps/.
