Delmarva Reacts to Airstrikes in Syria

SALISBURY, Md.- In the wake of US and Arab partners unleashing airstrikes on ISIS targets in Syria, WBOC spoke with locals about their reaction.

“I think we need to step up our presence there and take control of some sort,” remarked Jeff Mohr. “Make sure that we're bombing the right things and the right people, and not hurting innocent people, but I think that we should go in and take control.”

“Probably not going to be as effective as they need to be,” said Nathan Carroll.

“I think it's a really good thing and they really need to do something to combat this so they stop,” noted Ray Fairbank.

“I think we should mind our own business, so it doesn't come back to the US,” countered Moioshi Joynes.

These airstrikes gave way to an unprecedented regional response, with five Arab countries taking part.
