Three Arrested in Drug Deal Witnessed by Dover Police

DOVER, Del.- Dover Police arrested three people Tuesday morning, following a drug deal observed by police during a narcotics investigation.

Police said that while officers were conducting the investigation, they witnessed Yvonne Adkins, 28, and Joshua Poore, 33, engage in a narcotics purchase with 33-year-old Robert Sale, in the parking lot of a private business on Bay Road. Shortly after the transaction, police said officers conducted a traffic stop and took all three subjects into custody without incident.

According to police, Poore was found to be in possession of eight bags of heroin, while Adkins was in possession of seven bags of heroin and seven Clonazepan pills. Police said Sale was in possession of $1,246 cash.

Police said all three subjects were processed at the Dover Police Department and arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 7.
