Fire Ruins Seaford Home

SEAFORD, Del.- The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a late Sunday night fire that heavily damaged a Seaford home.

Officials said the fire was reported shortly after 11 p.m. at the home located on the 22000 block of Bloxom School Road. The Seaford Volunteer Fire Department responded to the blaze and was able to extinguish the flames with the assistance of the Blades Fire company.

Investigators said there were no reported injuries and the total damage is estimated at $75,000.

The fire was determined to be incendiary in nature, and anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the State Fire Marshal's Office at (302) 856-5600 or 1-800-TIP-3333.
