WILMINGTON, Del. - For most of the month of October, an exhibition of original work by 2014 Artist Fellow Leon Syfrit will be on display at the Delaware Division of the Arts Mezzanine Gallery.

The public is invited to meet the artist of the exhibit, titled Passages, at a reception Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Gallery, located in the Carvel State Office Building on North French Street.

Passages features a selection of portraits exploring Erik Erikson's theory of human psychological development, according to the Gallery. The series consists of male and female portraits representing each of the eight life stages presented in the theory.

The Gallery is open on weekdays from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
